Over the years, bloggers have become extremely influential in the fashion industry. Not only do they sit in the front row at fashion shows, but they also collaborate with brands and guest-star on shows. These fashion enthusiasts have turned their blogs into multimillion-dollar businesses.
- Chiara Ferragni, The Blonde Salad
Ferragni is a 28-year-old Italian fashion blogger who currently resides in Los Angeles. To date, she has over 3 million Instagram followers, which reflects her global fame. Her blog gained so much traffic that she began partnering with elite brands such as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, J Brand, Guess and Seven for All Mankind. She also served as an expert panelist who assisted in determining the shortlist for 2015’s LVMH Prize and appeared on Project Runway as a guest judge. Farregni has even graced the cover of Lucky and Vogue España magazine.
- Rumi Neely, Fashion Toast
Neely is a 32-year-old fashion enthusiast who launched Fashion Toast in 2007. She loves posting pictures of herself in trendy upscale clothes and model poses. Neely has collaborated with brands like REVOLVE Clothing and Shopbop and has also modeled for Free People, RVCA and Forever 21. Finally, she created her own brand, Are You I am, which features a collection of slip dresses, tap pants and specifically cut tees.
- Bryan Grey Yambao, Bryanboy
Grey is a 33-year-old fashion blogger from the Philippines who also happens to be the best friend of Fashion Toast’s Rumi Neely. His blog takes the form of an online diary that shares celebrity info and fashion insider tips. Yambao has kept his blog-driven business going by creating a line with furrier Adrienne Landau and guest hosting several times on America’s Next Top Model.
- Nicole Warne, Gary Pepper Girl
Warne is a 26-year-old fashion entrepreneur from Sydney, Australia who launched a vintage ecommerce site in 2009 called Gary Pepper. She started her blog, Gary Pepper Girl, to model and market the clothes on the Gary Pepper site. In 2011, Gary Pepper became one of the largest online vintage retailers in Australia. Eventually, the blog site became much more popular than the clothing. In 2012, she shut down the e-commerce branch of Gary Pepper to focus on her blog. Warne has also appeared on the cover of magazines such as Lucky.
- Nicolette Mason
Mason is a 30-year-old fashion editor and popular blogger who writes a monthly column for Marie Claire and designed her own collection for Modcloth. She aided Target by promoting and using social media to advertise their plus-size collection, Ava and Viv. She is also a TV personality who gives style advice on shows such as Today and Good Morning America. Mason’s site has gained popularity by using her blog as a platform to talk about intriguing social issues such as race, sexuality and body image.
- Gabi Gregg, Gabifresh
Gregg is a 30-year-old blogger who was also chosen to advertise for and promote Target’s plus-size collection, Ava and Viv. She began her blog in 2008, when she couldn’t find an entry-level job in fashion journalism. What started as a hobby has now evolved into an empire. Gregg has partnered with brands such as Misguided, Nordstrom and Laura Mercier. She has also offered advice on the Today show and designed a sell-out swimwear collection.
